How did your crafting journey begin? Was it a childhood passion, a hobby that grew into something bigger, or an unexpected discovery?
I’ve been making things with my hands for as long as I can remember. Making bags started as a hobby, but somewhere along the way, it grew into a real passion. I began to see it as a way of using the gifts and abilities the Lord has given me. I love the idea that every bag I make is one of a kind, made with care and a little bit of heart. And if something I’ve created can bring someone joy and make their everyday life a little more special, then I feel I’ve added something good to the world.
What do you love most about creating your handmade products? What keeps you inspired.
What I love most is the whole process of bringing an idea to life. I enjoy figuring out the patterns, thinking about how a bag will work in everyday life, and playing around with different colours and fabrics. There’s something incredibly rewarding about holding a finished product in my hands that was just an idea in my head a day ago! I always try to find that sweet spot between a beautiful design and something that’s genuinely practical and useful. That’s what keeps me inspired to create more.
What makes your creations special? Is it your choice of materials, attention to detail, unique designs or a special technique?
I put a lot of care into every bag I make. I love paying attention to the little details and taking the time to get things just right. For me, it’s important that each bag is not only beautiful, but also well-made and practical to use.
What does it mean to you when someone buys one of your handmade creations? Help our customers understand the difference their support makes in your life.
Knowing that someone loves something I’ve made means so much to me. I put a lot of thought into every bag, sometimes even lying awake at night thinking about how to get it just right! So, when someone gets as excited about the finished product as I am, it makes all the effort worthwhile. Every person is unique, and I believe everyone deserves something special that feels a little bit like them. Knowing that someone chooses something I’ve made by hand is a wonderful feeling, and their support means I can keep doing what I love.
If your creations could tell a story, what would you want that story to be? What little piece of yourself do you hope customers take home with every purchase?
I’ve always believed that if I love what I create and can offer something unique and well made, someone else might love it too. Every stitch, colour combination and design is chosen with care and thought. I hope that when someone takes one of my bags home, they take a little piece of that care and love with them too.
