How did your crafting journey begin?
My crochet and needle work journey started at the young age of 8-10 years, learning from my mom and grandmother.
It is a craft that I enjoy whenever I have time. Being retired now, I have more time for it and decided to start selling my items instead of “gifting and custom orders” only.
What do you love most about creating your handmade products?
For me personally it is very rewarding to see a pattern or idea and immediately want to make it myself and being proud of being able to take yarn or a piece of fabric and create/make an item with it.
What makes your creations special?
I prefer to work with quality material, 100% cotton or bamboo fabric, and yarn. When I see a pattern or item that I think is practical and beautiful, I am always tempted to make it myself.
I have ideas and a wish list of items in my Pinterest folders to keep me busy for a few lifetimes 😁
What does it mean to you when someone buys one of your items?
Selling an item inspires me to keep going ! The income I receive enables me to “buy more yarn” 😊
I need to “fill my cup” with being creative, sharing interest with like-minded fellow creators while knowing that all my items are hand-made and not mass produced in a factory.
If your creations could tell a story, what would you want that story to be? What little piece of yourself do you hope customers take home with every purchase?
I hope that my customers can appreciate the quality of material used, acknowledge the time, experience, and love for the craft it took to make every piece big or small.
